Also contains early letters from publishers concerning acceptance of rejection of Zane Grey's manuscripts, correspondence regarding the Izaak Walton League, fishing, Captain Laurie Mitchell, fan mail and solicitations, and business...

This file contains correspondence regarding Zane Grey's relationship with publishing company Harper & Bros., dating from 1910 to 1938. Many of the letters are from Ripley Hitchcock and Frederick Duneka shortly after Grey signed with Harper & Bros. and contain comments and financial details regarding his works. It also includes royalty reports for Grey books published by Harper & Bros.
